The Moørkutlot: Spirits of the Silent Forest | Silent Ones of Kaishel

For thousands of years, Kaimerans have heard rumor of formidable monsters in the forests of the polar continent, Kaishel. The nearby Kaimerans call them Moørkutlot: Makers of Silence. These creatures are blind, their hide impenetrable, and their venom is described as turning one's blood to lead. Although often assumed to be demons, homunculi, or even aliens from another planet, the Silent Ones in fact trace their ancestry to some of the first harvests over twice as ancient as the first Kaimeran dinosaurs.

Songs of the Inland Sea is the sequel to Tales of Kaimere! It is a nautical anthology, with all six short stories and novellas taking place in aquatic settings. There are heists on a ship, a desperate chase through a marsh, and a survival story from the perspective of a killer whale!
