This video shows how you can repair a dirtbike swingarm from chain damage. If you change out the chain guide when it shows extensive wear this can be avoided. Some bikes wear way quicker than others due to geometry in the design. Some last forever. This bike was a 2009 Honda CR450R. This video shows the use of a custom machined slug to insert where the seal goes and build up the weld from where the swingarm was completely worn away. This application shouldn't require weld and boring for a simple seal fitment. Welded with my Miller Welds 280 DX tig.
