Went over to Donington Park earlier today to support a new driver of mine this year, Brian Butler who races an MGF VVC in the Lancaster Insurance MG Owners Club Championship.
Brian had done great in his one training day with me and set a time good enough for P2 on the grid but traffic and just not being able to get back in the groove in the short 15min quali means he was somewhat short of that but still qualified P5 in class.
Was fortunate enough to have the use of the one of the suites at Redgate Corner so did a bit of external filming on my iPhone which is what is included here. Brian finished P5 in race 1 and P4 in race 2.
Going to be working with Brian some more this year so hoping to see his first podium soon.
