WILD SNORKELLING in the Canyon at KYNANCE COVE, Cornwall (4K)

Last time I was in Cornwall, I took the opportunity to take a short visit Kynance Cove for a spot of snorkelling.

The beach here is beautiful but can get very busy, especially during peak season. I made sure to get there early, to avoid the crowds. There's two paths from the car park down the beach - one slightly steeper than the other, but both take around 10 - 15 minutes by foot...

Being September, the water was a warm 18 degrees. Unfortunately there wasn't anywhere near as much marine life as I found at Porthkerris the day before (check out out that video here:    • SECRET COVE in the UK! Cinematic Underwate...  ). However, the light penetrating the water, especially through the narrow canyon presented a very magical experience...

Safety Points...

Beginners should take care when snorkelling in the canyon (the narrow gap between the rock formations, running almost parallel to beach) - the current was pretty strong when I was there and you're completely out of view from anyone on the beach...

You also need to ensure that you don't get cut off by the tide on this beach. Just pay attention to tide times and keep an eye on the ocean and you shouldn't go too wrong.
