Anger in US Over Trump and Musk; NIA Takes Rana in Custody | ISH News

US President Donald Trump is facing strong criticism after his tariff policies have led to rising tensions with countries like China and several European nations. Many of these countries have now imposed extra taxes on American products in return, which has badly affected the US stock market.
Due to the fall in the market, people in the US are angry as their retirement savings through the 401(K) plan have gone down. This savings plan, similar to India’s PPF, is linked to the stock market and also used by many people for taking loans. Now, they have to repay the loans even though their savings have reduced.
This situation has triggered protests across the US. People are not only criticizing Trump but also Elon Musk. Some even say Musk is acting like the ‘Unofficial President of the US’ because of his increasing influence in government matters.
Even Trump’s own party leaders, like Ted Cruz, have spoken against the tariff moves, saying it can harm American jobs. Meanwhile, Musk has requested Trump to stop the tariffs as Tesla car sales in Europe have dropped.
In response to criticism, Trump made a bold statement saying, “All world leaders are kissing my a**,” showing his arrogant stand on the issue.
In another big update, the US has sent Tahawwur Hussain Rana — one of the main accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks — to India. He is now in NIA’s custody, and interrogation has begun.
While BJP says he must get strict punishment, Congress leader Prithviraj Chauhan has called for a fair trial under Indian law. This has triggered a political debate, with some accusing Congress of being soft on terrorism.
The nation continues to remember the brave police officers and innocent people who lost their lives during the 26/11 attacks.
