Gaspac® ZE – The Emissions-free Dry Gas Seal Solution

The Gaspac® ZE eliminates the need for blowdowns in intermittently operated compressors with our integrated isolation seal technology. The result is ZERO Emissions from blowdowns. and ZERO Emissions at standstill!

While there are many options for upgrading pipeline compressors, only Gaspac® ZE dry gas seals eliminate emissions from blowdown and at standstill. Flowserve’s Gaspac® ZE seal achieves zero emissions at standstill and eliminates the need for blowdowns for up to 80% overall emissions reduction.

The one-of-a-kind seal solution employs Flowserve’s proprietary standstill seal technology. An efficient nitrogen activation system kicks in during standstill to prevent leaks. It then deactivates during operation.

This eliminates the need for blowdowns, saving valuable natural gas—approximately 100,000 normal cubic meters annually per compressor—and further reduces emissions.
