Camtasia is a great screen capture software you can use to make high quality, professional educational videos. In this video I will demonstrate of what Camtasia can do as an educational video tool. Camtasia is a technology I've been using for many years for all of my YouTube videos and it has all I ever needed to make a good quality videos. If you are interested in purchasing Camtasia this video will give you an idea what Camtasia does and you will see some examples of the features that I particularly find very useful.
Firstly, I will guide you through the recording tool, all the features and settings that can be very useful when recording your presentation. This screen recording tool allows you to screen capture so you can record over picture, document, graphs or over another video, as an example I will make a presentation recording myself over a PowerPoint slides where I can jump from one slide to another. Great tool to record yourself talking over another video with the sound on, Camtasia can pick up the sounds which is very important.
Secondly, we will see how the editing features work and what can we do to improve the quality of our video. These features include; changing the size of the video, green screen effect, intros, outros and music effects.
Then I will give you some tips how to make the video more engaging and visual, these are some additional call outs like highlights, pictures, notes, transitions etc..
At the end you will see a demonstration of completely finished video so you can see what all of the features looks like in a finalised project.
