Daredevil is one of Marvel’s most beloved characters, but it wasn’t always that way. For decades, he was a second-tier hero. Marvel almost canceled his comics because no one was buying them, and Fox’s awful adaptation killed any hopes of seeing Matt Murdock properly translated to live action. But Marvel Studios and Netflix brought him back and turned him into a pop culture icon. In this video, we explain how they pulled it off.
