Opening Phantasmal Flames vs Obsidian Flames | CHARIZARD HUNT!!!

Have you ever wondered which set is better; Phantasmal Flames of Mega Evolutions or Obsidian Flames of Scarlet & Violet? Today we answer that question in our hunt for Charizard SIRs in both of these fiery hot Charizard sets of the two most recent modern eras!

Phantasmal Flames is the new Mega Evolutions set released on November 14th, 2025! The big chases in this set are of course the Charizard SIR and gold Charizard which are STILL missing from our master set! On the other side, Obsidian Flames released back in August of 2023 and still brings the heat with that amazing Charizard SIR and the beautiful Ninetales IR! But which set is better??? Today we open a booster box of both Phantasmal Flames and Obsidian Flames to decide which set is better!
