We shall have to think to, change the policy, to consider, how this water can be utilized with use of modern technology.
Jal Jiwan Arakhada is a program to under stand, how much water is stored in the village as against the rain fall precipitation, which is gift of nature. What is agriculture income of the village. Whether it is sufficient for daily needs of poor villager. How sustainable development of small village, can be done with efficient use of water with modern technology is discussed in the documentary, with case study of Mahalunge village, Khed taluka, Ratnagiri.
The water can be stored in Farm ponds - Jal Durgs, in monsoon. The villagers of Kudawale, Dapoli Taluka are utilising same techanic and supplying vegetables to the city.
