Santa Cruz Island, March 8th, 2013, SCUBA for Lobster on the Peace

March 8th, 2013 a few of us booked spots to dive from the Peace Dive Boat out of Ventura California. The target spot was to be the Talcott Shoals area on the Northwest side of Santa Rosa Island. The weather did not cooperate, so we ducked in on the South side of Rosa and then moved over to Santa Cruz Island for the last two dives of the day.
I ended up getting all my lobster for the day at Santa Cruz Island for a total of 6, or 3 per dive. My first dive was shallower and there was a lot of surge. The second dive was in a dense kelp bed with some great rocky rubble reef.
