We have all heard of the brave people who scream 'jump right in the waters warm!'. Well Amanda and Jeff are these kind of people. They had the courage to buy a house in a foreign country sight unseen. It all worked out perfectly. They are now living a dream retirement at 49 on the island of Madeira in Portugal. Let's go. It'll Be fun!

We spend the day with them in Campanario. We have been here before a couple months ago. The area is located between Ribera Brava and Camara de Lobos. It’s population is about 4500 people, and has a rural feel to it. Only about 20 minutes from Funchal. The location is perfect.
