Have you ever woken up and didn’t say good morning to your parents because you were going back to sleep? Our parents say good morning, but we don’t respond back because we’re heading back to sleep. Some of us are hearing God call our names saying, “Good morning, I’m calling you onto something,” but you decide to go back and stay asleep.

Some of us God’s been calling us to certain things, but we don’t answer because we think we’re not ready, that we have to handle some things and put some stuff aside before we answer his call. Some of us think that we’re too “dirty” or that the things we’ve gone through or we’re still dealing with that we can’t answer, so we stay asleep.

Our flesh is weak, but our spirit is willing. You’ve been walking with your flesh instead of walking with the spirit.
