◆ぷにぷに電機、水槽、Gimgigamの三人のアーティストがコラボレーション曲「VS」をリリースする。2025年1月19日に表参道WALL&WALLで開催された2マンライブ「水槽 × ぷにぷに電機」で初披露された本作は、”フレンド兼エネミー”のような関係性を描いた、鋭くも中毒性のあるファンク・チューン。中域のグルーヴが効いたミドルテンポのビートに、互いの声が挑むように絡み合い、日常と情熱、言葉と声、友情と敵意——そんな対立を飛び越えるようなデュエットソングとなっている。 様々な曲調と歌声を使い分けジャンルを横断して楽曲を制作するぷにぷに電機、TVアニメ『BLEACH』EDテーマ曲への起用など活躍目覚ましいシンガー・トラックメイカーの水槽、ファンクやレゲエなど多彩な引き出しを持ち作品ごとに異なるアプローチを聴かせるGimgagim。自ら楽曲をプロデュースする力を持った三者が、異なるスタイルと視点を響き合わせることで生まれた「VS」ーー異種格闘の火花が、今立ち上る。
Three genre-blending artists—Punipunidenki, suisoh, and Gimgigam—join forces on the collaborative track “VS.” First unveiled at their joint live show suisoh × Punipunidenki held on January 19, 2025 at WALL&WALL in Omotesando, the song is a sharp yet addictive funk tune exploring a “friend-and-enemy” kind of relationship. Over a mid-tempo beat driven by a groovy low-end, the two vocalists engage in a back-and-forth that feels both confrontational and deeply intimate. “VS” is a duet that transcends dualities—everyday life and raw emotion, language and sound, friendship and rivalry—through the power of voice and rhythm.
Punipunidenki, known for crossing genres with an ever-shifting palette of styles and vocal tones; suisoh, a rising singer-producer whose work includes the ending theme for the TV anime BLEACH; and Gimgigam, a versatile producer whose approach shifts from track to track, drawing from funk, reggae, and beyond. Lately I’ve gotten really close with suisoh-chan, and that momentum led us to create a song together. I’m so happy we did. With Gimgigam’s amazing support, we shaped this around the theme of proactive friendly rivals. I was completely immersed while we were in the middle of it, but now that it’s finished, I feel so much love for this collaboration. I hope we can have another match sometime soon.

遊び心とピースに溢れたぷに様との会話も、創作も、総じて刺激的で未知との遭遇。オンラインでもセッションはできるし、お互いの"VS観"を存分にぶつけ合い、文字通り楽しみながら対決できた実りある制作でした。
Every conversation and creative moment with Puni-sama, who is full of playfulness and peace, felt like an inspiring and unexpected encounter. Even though we worked remotely, we were able to fully challenge each other’s views on what "VS" means. It turned into a truly enjoyable and rewarding creative battle.

ぷにぷに電機さんと水槽さんの歌声に絶妙なバトル感が出ていて、ワクワクとドキドキが止まりません。ゴージャスなホーンと攻撃的なスラップベースが冴えるファンキーなビートに仕上げました。
The way Punipunidenki and suisoh's voices interact creates an incredible sense of musical tension that kept me excited the whole time. I crafted a funky beat with sharp slap bass and luxurious horns to match their energy.
