Mother Tree discovers how we are just like the oldest hub trees in the forest, suckling the young, passing nutrients and warning signals, sustaining those in need and creating a village. Mother Tree has deep spiritual undertones, exploring nature as deity, motherhood as life giving and how we as mothers are in fact, more interconnected with nature than we have ever realised before. The piece finds connection between the amazing cooperation, memory, healing and wisdom of the Mother Trees and our own incredible journey through motherhood.
