Is Ah better than Um?

If you do need to use a filler sound, is there a better option between “um” or “ah”?

When speaking on the fly, it can be really hard to sound confident and avoid filler words.

We rarely use a script when speaking with important contacts at work, so I think we need to be realistic about how we can speak better.

I'm of the view that filler sounds and words will happen. The goal is not to delete absolutely every filler, because there'll be moments where your brain lags and the natural outcome is a filler sound.
