How to Wet Felt Baby Boots

Here’s my latest project — these little baby boots I made for a friend’s new niece. They were so much fun to felt, and I love how they turned out. 💕
100% natural materials keeping their feet wild from the start.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you step by step:
– Shape of the resist
– Layer merino/cashmere, and alpaca fibres
– Add decoration with thrifted silk fabric
– Shrink and shape the boots

Materials I Used
Merino + cashmere fibre blend
Natural alpaca fibre (brown)
Thrifted silk dress (repurposed for decoration)
Wooden button
Leather lace
Recycled resist material
Hot water + natural soap
Mesh net
