Listener is the unlucky chosen one of this year’s lottery. Their purpose: be the sacrifice offered to the vampire residing at the foot of the mountain overlooking the village. This is nothing new and has been happening for tens, maybe even hundreds of years. Listener bravely resigns themselves, but soon realize that the villagers had poisoned you; likely as an attempt to poison the would-be predator as well. Listener now stumbles around his territory, waiting for either the toxin or the terrifying monster to finally put an end to their misery.
