Hi! I'm Julia Hayes, a South African born iconographer living in Greece. I have also studied Theology and have a Masters in Liturgical Theolofy from the University of Athens. If you are unfamiliar with my work you can see it here: www.ikonographics.net. I have often been asked by people all over the world if I teach iconography workshops. But I realised that there are also a lot of people who would like to learn iconography but either don't have access to or can't afford to attend workshops. To try and fulfill this need I started making iconography video tutorials on YouTube. While videos can't replace face-to-face lessons with a teacher they do have the advantage that the student can watch them repeatedly to learn the techniques. These videos require a great deal of time, effort and expense and like all artists I still need to pay my rent and bills. That is where Patreon comes in.
