Here is an experimental sound model on the Iskra, a Low C Hijaz.

The crafting process of the Iskra utilizes different note shaping and tuning methods than most handpans. Because of this, lower notes can be a bit more of a challenge thanks to the architecture of the handpan shell. Demand for lower pitched sound models is still present, so I figured I'd see how an Iskra would turn out in these lower registers. It's easy to make a low sound model using heavy note shaping, sharp borders, etc. Keeping the smooth borders and different note architecture makes it a different beast altogether.
I'm happy with the overall outcome, though there are a few things I'd change in future low register Iskras, should I decide to build more. Some rules that the regular Iskra handpans use were definitely broken to build this particular instrument.
