Can life events cause a flare up in nociplastic pain?

“Is it possible that stress or other life events can cause pain or what was once a site of injury in some way. For example I've heard another podcaster say this happens to them and is often an indication to pay attention to what is happening in their life at that time. I'd be interested to know more about this. Thank you.”
