There is a new Capoeirista in town, and this is just the beginning of his journey. Week three of Month in the Making Brazil follows one of my dreams as it comes to life. This week Mestre Nenê believed this Capoeira kid was ready to officially become part of the world of Capoeira. After three weeks of non-stop conditioning and Capoeira, I believed I was ready too! We spent a full week preparing for my official ceremony to earn my Green cord, the first level of a Capoeirista. Traveling to the most stunning beach, waterfall, and mountain views on Ilhabela, we never trained without beauty at our backs.
