This is part 1 of the Knife Lab belt grinder build. It's an open hardware belt grinder for knife making. You can see some Instagram posts about it at / bostonbladeco from Feb/March 2018.
Many hinged and commercial belt grinders I find to be a little to wobbly. This is a rock solid version that can be built for around $400 dollars including the motor and what is shaping up to be about a weekend of work.
