ISRO’s first mission of the year ended in disappointment as the PSLV-C62 rocket failed to reach its intended orbit, marking the second consecutive failure of India’s most reliable launch vehicle. While the rocket performed well in the first two stages, trouble emerged once again in the critical third stage—a problem that mirrors the failure seen in May 2025.
