(100th Video!) Brisbane Tramway Museum 100th anniversary celebration of BCC (7 December 2025)

I have had so much fun at the Brisbane Tramway Museum with ‪@fletchy40‬ as well as the South East Queensland Transit Association (led by‪@immyonboard‬). On that day, there were five trams that operated - including a horse tram (which was also the first time I ever took a horse tram), ten-bench car 65, Dropcentre 341, Four Motor Tram (prototype) 400 and the Phoenix Four Motor tram 554 (in addition to tram 99 which was on display). The Lord Mayor (Adrian Schrinner) even made an appearance, giving a speech about the 100th anniversary of the Brisbane City Council acquiring the public transportation system in Brisbane. The Queensland Omnibus and Coach Society also brought over five buses to the Tramway Museum (80, 100, 722, 827 and 958) - two of which operated joyrides and three of which were on display. In addition, the Council brought over Brisbane Metro articulated vehicle 9030 for display purposes (it's also where I managed to meet Imogen Buckley for the first time ever, though I did see her when I was on the Santa steam train). After 9030 needed recharging, they brought over 9031 as a replacement - and I got to go inside both metros. This video also marks the 100th video I've ever uploaded to YouTube. Interestingly - the first video I uploaded to YouTube was about the Brisbane Tramway Museum back in February, so this means that both my first video and my latest video (at the time of publication) is on the Brisbane Tramway Museum. I would like to thank ‪@fletchy40‬ for tagging along with me and visiting the numerous exhibits the museum had on offer, and I would also like to thank the South East Queensland Transit Association for coming over to the Tramway Museum as well. I got to meet a dozen members there, and it was so much fun! I'll probably go to the tramway museum either next Sunday (hopefully Baby Dreadnought 99 will operate that day) or during their next open day next year.
