In this video we explain location and testing of the switches in the latch mechanism of the sliding doors for 05-10 ody. This specific latch had a sticking ratchet mechanism so the ratchet switch was not being engaged and simply needed to be cleaned with brake cleaner and relubed with white lithium to get it fully functioning again. The symptoms it had were the door closing then after 3 seconds releasing slightly and it had a constant drain on the battery.
