In this video I build a pair of nightstands out of walnut and finished with two coats of Tried & True Varnish Oil and a final coat of Tried & True Original. The joinery is all done with 3/8 inch dowels using the Jessem 3/8ths dowling jig. The jig makes it very easy to align the holes and create small offsets between the legs and the rails. This project took a long time but the end result I'm very happy with. Like all my project...they aren't perfect because I'm still learning...but they should last many years and be able to be passed down to future generations.
