How God Covers You When You Feel Out of Control | Daily Devotional Day 2

Psalm 91:4 hit home for me today. It talks about God covering you and His faithfulness being your shield. And for someone like me who has lived most of their life having to protect themselves, make their own way, and hold everything together… letting God cover me has never been simple.

Control became my safety.
It became my survival strategy.
And honestly, it became my default even with God.

But this scripture reminded me that there are some things I am not supposed to carry. There are places where my strength will not be enough. And there are moments where letting go is not weakness, it is trust. God covers what I cannot. He shields what I can’t predict. He takes responsibility for what is too heavy for me.
