Last February I tore both the ligaments in my knee so had to change my original challenge of climbing Snowdon as many times as I could in 24 hours to something I could do sitting down! I decided to paddle the Great Glen canoe trail from Fort William to Inverness on an inflatable SUP board in 2 days. Most people take 3-5 days to do this in a canoe or kayak!
The weather was hideous with rain and wind. It was cold and relentless. But after paddling for 13 hours on day 1 and 9 hours on day two, we made it to Inverness.
