Anyone who loves to eat Kurut? 😋 Kurut is a Tajikistan delicacy and you can buy it easily on the side of the streets or everywhere on the markets. 💥 It is like dries cheese or yoghurt balls. Not exactly sure what it is, but be prepared for a salty taste explosion in your mouth! The best way to learn about a country is to taste it, so on my trip to Tajikistan, I had to bite into a Kurut ball. 🧂 It is super salty and I am sure it is better if you mix it with a drink. Some say cola, some say beer. ❌ Anyway I’m sorry, my Tajikistan friends, but Kurut is not my favorite snack! 🤣 This traditional dairy product from Tajikistan comes in all sizes! Although I called it a dried yoghurt ball, it smells like cheese and tastes super salty. I expected it to be much cheaper, but 1 KG is around $7 USD. Seems a lot to me!
