Welcome to Episode 1 of “Explore Singapore” 🌿 in this vlog, we take you on a serene yet exciting journey through one of Singapore’s most peaceful and culturally rich destinations the Chinese & Japanese Gardens, beautifully located around Jurong Lake.

After being closed for five long years, these iconic gardens finally reopened in September 2024, and we just had to explore them! From majestic pagodas to calm lakes, lush bonsai gardens, and tranquil tea pavilions — every corner here tells a story of heritage, harmony, and quiet beauty.
We start our journey at the Cloud Pagoda (入云塔) a stunning seven-story structure that dominates the skyline of the Chinese Garden. Even though it’s still under renovation, its grandeur is breathtaking. Not far from there, we stop by Eden Restaurant before wandering through the Bonsai Garden.

Then comes a refreshing break at BingXue Tea & Ice Cream, followed by calm moments at the Tea Pavilion by the water, surrounded by water lilies and gentle ripples. We continue toward the Twin Pagodas the Cloud and Moon Pagodas, facing each other across the serene lake, offering picture-perfect views from every angle.

Crossing the Bridge of Double Beauty, we step into the Japanese Garden a place that feels like another world. Along the way, we discover playful zones filled with zip lines, trampolines, and slides for kids, before reaching the Sunken Garden, where the Mid-Autumn Festival’s “Lights by the Lake” fills the night with colors, lanterns, and life.
