A big example of not worrying about anything that isn't on camera. I barely moved his arm from the T-pose defaults for the first half. I noticed it looked fine on camera so moved on to other things.
I'll get the usual comments of "You should put some effort in to these areas anyway" - I would if it was a multi-million dollar production, but it is just me doing these shots in a spare half hour after work. I honestly don't think it matters.
The brain fills in the gaps a little bit with this stuff. I think most people watching it would presume his legs were moving.
You can see from this angle that I had no worries about having him clip through surfaces. I also didn't worry about distance logistics. His hand doesn't even make contact with the bars when he places his hand on them at the beginning. I just cheated it, rather than care about how his arm wouldn't be able to stretch that far from that distance.
