Iceland Ring Road Day 7 | Vík to Höfn Road trip– Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, Svínafellsjökull Glacier

Day 7 of our Iceland Ring Road adventure takes us from Vík in South Iceland to Höfn in the southeast, a drive packed with jaw-dropping scenery and unforgettable stops.
Our journey begins in the charming village of Vík í Mýrdal, then takes us to the breathtaking Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, with its mossy cliffs and winding river that looks straight out of a fantasy movie. Along the way, we make spontaneous stops for random waterfalls, ever-changing landscapes, and even a delicious Icelandic gas station food break (yes, it’s that good!).
Next, we head to the spectacular Svínafellsjökull glacier tongue, part of the massive Vatnajökull Glacier, where snow-capped mountains and dramatic vistas steal the show. We wrap up the day at the cozy Hali Country Hotel, located near the famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
