01/28/2022 Bell Test (Simplex 4100ES)

First bell test upload of 2022! Several weeks late, but better than never, lol. This video isn't terribly exciting, but it does show devices you wouldn't expect to be on a Simplex system. As you can probably guess, there was a different system here prior and when that got replaced with the 4100ES, the original devices were kept and not upgraded/replaced. therefore, a majority of this place is conventional, however some devices, especially in areas that ave been renovated, have had their conventional devices replaced with addressable devices, therefore the system is a mix of addressable and conventional. Despite the messy setup, everything worked as it was supposed to.

As you can see, the signals in this part of the building are System Sensor MA/SS-24s set to slow whoop (yes, the strobe works as it should, the camera just wasn't picking up the flashes very well). Areas that have been renovated, however, have had their signals replaced with TrueAlerts. You can also see the annunciator has a "crazy characters" display. We had to use the annunciator to do our testing because the facility maintenance personnel would not let us near the panel (this is a nursing home/memory care facility and due to COVID restrictions and the panel location, they did not want us in certain areas).
