Errands, laughs, smoothies when I wasn’t hungry, and my traditional New Year’s plate — hearts of palm “fried fish,” quinoa, black-eyed peas, and kale.
Poppy said his resolution is to be a better husband and father…
heavy on the husband 😅 — or get left in the dust.
We cleaned the house, kissed at midnight, and brought the year in together.
Quiet. Grounded. No chaos.
The calendar flipped, but my real new year comes in the spring — with my birthday. 🌱✨
