This video finds us camping in Southwest Colorado near the town of Durango. If you're familiar with this part of the country you know we're in the midst of the stunning San Juan Mountains. There are plenty of adventures in the area and the Pass Trail to Engineer Mountain is one of them. The 6 mile roundtrip hike with 2,500 ft of elevation gain was awesome but became very tricky towards the end. We came to a point where we had to make an easy decision and err on the side of caution. We did not summit the peak but the journey was still one we'd do again. We hope you enjoy the video.
