In this video I give the 1HDFTE Troopy a proper oil flush, then jump straight into a coolant clean-out and treatment. Nothing crazy — just the sort of basic maintenance that keeps these old girls running smooth and cool, especially if you tow or sit in traffic all day like I do.
I show the exact Cost Effective Maintenance stuff I used, how I threw it in, and what it looked like straight after the flush. It’s all driveway-level work — anyone can do it, and it makes a massive difference on these engines.
