Damasko DB1 VS Hamilton Khaki Field Auto | LUME WARS! #21 ⌚️💡 🔦

In this episode of #LUMEWARS by KeepTheTime, we put two tool watches up to the test: A Damasko DB1 VS Hamilton Khaki Auto. Both are Swiss made, both are automatics, both use Super-LumiNova lume, but both lumeshots are not created equal.

We do this series of LUME WARS! not only to showcase brightness, longevity and color, but also the DESIGN of the lume. How did the watch company use the lume? Where did they place it? How much real estate does it cover? Does it make the time legible?



The #Damasko is 40mm in diameter, 12mm thick, 19mm lugs, with an automatic ETA caliber 2836-2. The #Hamilton is 42mm, 11mm thick, 22mm lugs, powered by an automatic ETA caliber 2824-2.

The Hamilton retails for almost half the price of the Damasko ($625 VS $1,300), so maybe that's why it has half the lume!?
