Jeep Cherokee Leak to Passenger Floor Fix

In this video, I show how I fixed the leak to my passenger side floor in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. The water was entering in from my cowl and spilling over the retaining edge of my fresh air intake. This allowed the water to travel down the intake and seep through my firewall seals and pool under the carpet at the passenger’s feet.
To fix it, I cut and bent back a piece of my cowl and caulked with silicone the outer edge of my intake to make water travel around rather than up and over. I then bent back the piece I cut and sealed that with silicone as well. To this day I have not noticed the same leak and would dare to call it fixed.
