Both Laika and Pixar aren't usually ones for cancelled productions, but when collabing together, it seems they're open to the cutting room floor! The connecting glue between these two studios is the Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas director Henry Selick, who was given an offer to work with Disney and Pixar in order to make a rare stop-motion animated movie for them. And yet it never arose. So what happened to it? What was the plotline? And is there any future to this Shadow King movie?
