With candles in the windows and lights adorning our trees and houses, we are comforted by the glowing lights cutting through the winter darkness. In this video, we are taking you along as we explore the Winter Lantern Festival that is being held select nights between now and January 11, 2026. While this particular light display isn't related to Christmas, it does bring a festive glow to dark winter nights. The artistry of traditional Chinese lanterns is used to illustrate Chinese folklore and history in a fascinating way. We share highlights of the event along with information you may need to know to plan a visit to this event.
