Nephrology Appointment for Bone Infusion

The day starts in the kitchen like usual with everyone getting ready to head out. The boys to school, Kacy off to take her exam for the Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation, and Alicia, Hudsyn and Dan to take Hudsyn downtown to Children's Mercy Hospital for her first bone infusion and an orthopedic visit for her hip dysplasia. Dan surrenders Kacy's jacket that he was wearing, then they load into the van to get the boys to school as early as possible so they can get on the road in time to make it to Hudsyn's 9am appointment. We get a laugh as Dan obviously made a 2 minute stop to get a donut for him and Alicia. Once at the hospital we see the waiting room, then the exam room for ortho, then they head for nephrology. We see the process the vascular dept uses to find a spot for Hudsyn's IV. We also get to see the use of a J-tip to administer Lidocaine before the injection. After returning home we find out Kacy has passed her test! Woohoo! Kacy rides along to drive Hudsyn to school since they didn't get home in time for her school bus. Alicia gives a thank you shout out for the bag she received through Hopester Mail Time too! We get to see some big smiles as Hudsyn's teacher is excited to see her. Then we jump forward to after school with Dan getting ready for the walk in heavy rain to get the boys from school. He looks funny in his big yellow rain coat! Later we see Dan's new way of frying bacon while he prepares to make quiche for a livestream, and then after forgets to close out the vlog, so he patches in a current day clip from the van while waiting in the school pick up line to get Damek on a second rainy day. He does a quick and terrible Morgan Freeman impersonation before closing out the vlog.
