This video opens with the loco-hauled activity seen at Burton-on-Trent on Monday morning, 25th April, from about 10:30 to 1:15pm.
Most of the freight is Class 56 or class 58 hauled, with the odd Class 37 and even a Class 45.
Class 47s fill in on passenger duties.
The first part finishes with a brief visit to Stenson Junction for Class 47, and then Class 37 freights.
The second visit was on Friday 27th May 1988 and shows 5 train movements filmed during a lunch time. This includes 4 Class 47 hauled trains (2 passenger and 2 freight), a Class 37 and double Class 20s.
