How Reflectors Work - Human Design - Abundance through Evaluation

Reflectors, in Business Human Design Language are called Evaluators. That's because they are here to observe and evaluate trends over periods of time of at least a month.
Their inner compass, the way their body naturally makes decisions, happens over a cycle of at least 28 days. During that 28 Days, Evaluators / Reflectors naturally gather information from those around them.
They gather information from how the market is purchasing or not purchasing various products or services.
They gather information from how team members are effectively or ineffectively using their energy.
They gather information about what is correct or not for them.
This isn't a logical process primarily. It's an energetic process. While others see the "sentence", they see the "paragraph", which takes time. It's a broad perspective. And they do it naturally. Over a month, the correct direction for them, their company, their team, their community, etc. begins to take shape. And that inner clarity that emerges over the month informs logical choice.
This makes them natural guiders of groups, guiding the group direction. The most important decision for Reflectors / Evaluators is to get into the correct environment. It's important to be in an environment where you're recognized and appreciated for your ability to see the bigger picture as well as your natural gifts and talents. And to be in environments where you are given the time to see the bigger picture.
For decisions that need to be made in quicker timelines, e.g. days or weeks, they become easier to make when you've already made the bigger decisions to be in the correct environment and to be moving in the correct high-level broad direction in your life. Then, those smaller decisions will be part of the bigger rhythm you've already aligned to.
As a leader, you can see where individuals and groups are balanced or imbalanced and, over a period of a month, a clear picture comes into form. You are a mirror for teams, amplifying what works and what doesn't. You can see how people can best connect and collaborate.
Follow your surprise and delight to know you're on track. Notice when you're feeling disappointed and let it be a marker that you got off track somewhere along the way. Instead of reacting, create space to see the bigger trend. Zoom out. And get back on track.
