JUDY GARLAND getting wild on late 1960's TV VAN JOHNSON MOMS MABLEY ARTHUR TREACHER & no underwear

More from when Judy Garland guest hosted The Merv Griffin Show on December 23, 1968. Judy attempts to interview Van Johnson, who I think showed up with edibles for all because everything starts getting wacky real quick. Judy start things off a little shady by calling Johnson's new movie His, Hers & Theirs when in reality it is called Yours, Mine, And Ours, then the interview quickly deteriorates into a panel free for all where we discover that Moms has the hots for Van and who is and who isn't wearing underwear, dodgy statements from Arthur Treacher, allusions from Van, and more. At one point Moms starts doing her act in the middle of Van's interview and tells a "joke" that was really no more than stating a horrific truth about the Black experience. To hear laughter following the punch line is chilling. However, it's a lively and loose bunch, but not without some tension...Moms is annoyed by Arthur and Van is annoyed by Moms and Judy is annoyed by Van and Loretta Young is annoyed by Judy. So there's all that. The post really called out for a song from Judy so I took one from earlier in the show and tacked it onto the end of this segment.
