First of four different sets of mufflers I am trying out on the new build:
1. Flowmaster Super 44
2. Flowmaster Pro Series
3. Borla XR-1 Raceline
4. Borla Pro XS
Once I have recorded all of them, I will create a back-to-back-to-back-to-back scene-by-scene comparison video to help me decide on which ones to keep in the exhaust. Hopefully, it can help you also.
1973 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT build:
502 cid crate engine (stroked 460) with 575 horsepower, 600 lb-ft torque
Hooker coated long tube headers
3" dual exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers
McLeod hydraulic clutch
Tremec TR3551 TKX 5-speed manual transmission
Rebuilt front suspension
Front sway bar
Rebuilt 9" rear end with posi and 3.70 gears
Custom traction bars
Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes
15x8 U.S. Mags Indy U101 Polished Wheels
275/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As
Vintage Air and heat conversion
Rear step bumper on order and then 3.5" exhaust tips will be installed
