ASMR Whispered Scary Story Reading - "impound" by Knifepoint Horror

A whispered reading of one of my favorite scary stories, written by Soren Narnia for the Knifepoint Horror podcast. A man in trouble, wanting only an escape from a crisis, stumbles across a mystery which leads to another... and yet another, demanding a return to a dangerous place and time.

I was ineffably chilled when I first listened to it. All the elements -- dark backroads, the anxiety of committing a serious crime, a clandestine meeting of petty-bourgeois perverts, suggestions of the eldritch and extraterrestrial -- make a Lovecraftian concoction that's more stomach-turning for being modern.
