The LM440 is a interesting proposition. The claim is that its got the spool of a IS20 (Stock Turbo) and the peak power better than an IS38, especially with a decatted downpipe. Kind of hard to believe till you actually drive one!
And that's exactly what Rohit let me do.. drive his crazy Stage 3 RS230, running an LM440 turbo, milltek turbo back exhaust, APR intercooler and a RacingLine R600 Intake & turbo Elbow. Fortunately his car is on Eibach Coilovers which really helps in putting the power down.
The car is Tuned by TVS Engineering, sporting their 95 RON ECU map for the LM440 turbocharger and a Stage 3 TCU map.
The end result is incredible...
