Here, the James Band plays the Ernie Wilkins arrangement of Take the A' Train, followed by the Bob Florence arrangement of Satin Doll.
Trumpet players will appreciate the closeups of what trumpet players and teachers have called "the Perfect Embouchure" for over eighty years!
This is from the James Band tour of Europe in the Fall of 1970.
