This week I took the Album Moonstone out at a fun little beach break and found a peak all to myself. Super fun waves, clean conditions, and the board felt great — fast, flowy, and loose in the pocket.
The next day I went back to the same spot with a completely different board — the KBD Performance Mid, a 6'10" refined midlength I’ve just picked up. It’s way more drivey and precise, with a tighter turning radius and a totally different feel.
This video is a raw look at both sessions — just a twin fin and a performance mid back-to-back in fun, empty beach break waves.
